Ok, so I have been saying I would get a bike and a seat for Oliver since like forever...
There have always been things in the way, mostly money. I didn't ever get to a point where I felt we could afford to drop more than a hundred dollars on a bike and the fixings when there were so many other things in line first (damn those bills!).
I don't really know what brought it on, but I suddenly started to feel the end of summer coming and realized that I had not spent as much time outside as I wanted to. With the freezing cold weather haunting my thoughts, I decided it was time to just do it. I have a new job... we are caught up on our bills...its the end of summer, things are going to be on sale...there is no time like the present...I should get a bike!
Plus, as a bonus, my mom helped out and paid for half =D yeay Mom!
Oliver was very excited, it was really cute. He was so well behaved, we had a blast riding around. Our first trip was this afternoon and it lasted about 30 mins, then I got tired and my butt started to hurt. Plus it was freaking hot outside!
So, after a bike ride around the neighborhood we stopped for a treat.
